Here are some general rules and suggestions to keep
in mind when using an ATM:
|
- Always
make sure the area is well lit. If the lights at an ATM are not working,
don’t use it.
|
- Do
not write your Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your card or
keep the PIN in your wallet.
|
- Farmers
State Bank employees will never ask you for your PIN, so never reveal
it to anyone.
|
- Always
protect your ATM card and keep it in a safe place, just like you would
cash, credit cards, or checks.
|
- Minimize
the time spent at an ATM by having your card out and ready.
|
- Block
the ATM keypad when entering your PIN.
|
- Regularly
review your account statements – or sign on to www.fsbwesty.com
online banking – to verify and review your transactions. Contact
us immediately if you identify any discrepancies.
|
- Always
take your receipt and keep it to compare to your statement.
|
- Immediately
notify Farmers State Bank or call the SHAZAM number, (800) 383-8000
if your card is lost or stolen.
|
- If
you are using a drive-up ATM, be sure the passenger windows are rolled
up and all doors are locked.
